Bulk-Edit: Updating Your Assetbots Database 

While we're currently developing a dedicated bulk-update feature, you can use the following workaround to make changes to multiple assets at once: 

Export and Edit Your Data: 

1. Export Your Data: Navigate to the desired area on the left side of your Assetbots homepage (Assets or Directory). Click the three dots next to the “Add Asset” or the "Add Person" button, then select "Export Data." This will download your data in Excel or CSV format. 

2. Prepare Your Data: Open the exported file and delete all columns except for the following: 
   1. For Asset update: Category, Tag, and the column(s) you would like to update. 
   2. For Person update: Name, email, and ID from your Excel/CSV.  Format the ID column as Text (so it doesn’t drop the leading “0”s). 
3. Make Your Changes: Update your selected column(s) with the new data 

Re-import Your Updated Data: 

1. Save the modified Excel or CSV file 
2. Import Data: Navigate to the desired area on the left side of your Assetbots homepage (Assets or Directory). Click the three dots next to the “Add Asset” or the "Add Person" button, then select "Import Data."  
3. Upload Your File: Choose the updated Excel or CSV file you saved earlier.
