Using the Force Refresh Button in Assetbots

At Assetbots, we understand the importance of having access to the latest information within your database. That's why we've incorporated a convenient "force refresh database" button to ensure you're always seeing up-to-date data. This button is also a valuable first step in troubleshooting any discrepancies you might encounter within your Assetbots database view.

Here's how to force refresh your Assetbots database:

  1. Navigate to Your Database: Locate the desired database within your Assetbots workspace by clicking on your account in the upper right corner of your homepage. Click on the database name to open the edit database pop-up.
  2. Locate the Force Refresh Button: Once you've opened the edit database pop-up, look for the "Force Refresh Database" button. This button is located at the bottom in the middle of the “edit database” pop-up (see image below).
  3. Initiate the Refresh: Click the "Force Refresh Database" button. Assetbots will then retrieve and display the latest information for your database.

Why Force Refresh is a First Step in Troubleshooting?

In many cases, temporary glitches or caching issues can cause your database view to appear outdated or display inaccurate information. A force refresh clears these temporary hiccups and ensures you're seeing the most recent data stored within your Assetbots database. This can often resolve minor display issues without needing to delve into more complex troubleshooting steps.

Benefits of Force Refresh:

  • Ensures Up-to-Date Information: This feature helps guarantee you're working with the most recent data within your Assetbots database.
  • Improved Accuracy: By refreshing, any discrepancies between your view and the actual database information are minimized.
  • Quick Troubleshooting: The force refresh button is a simple and effective way to address many minor display issues before resorting to more involved troubleshooting methods.
