Printing Labels on Assetbots

Assetbots allows you to easily create and print professional-looking labels for your assets, improving organization and identification. Here's a comprehensive guide on printing labels within Assetbots:

Accessing the Label Printing Feature:

  1. Navigate to Reports: Locate the "Reports" section on the left side of your Assetbots homepage.
  2. Select Labels: Within the Reports section, click on the option labeled "Labels." This will open the label printing interface.

Setting Up Your Labels:

  • Template Selection: Locate the "Setup" section. Within this section, you'll find a dropdown menu labeled "Template." Click on this dropdown to reveal a variety of label templates.
  • Tag Type: The two options here are “QR Codes” and “Barcordes.” QR codes encode either asset tag IDs or links but are not scannable by some external barcode scanners. Barcodes encode asset tag IDs that can be scanned by almost any scanner.
  • QR Code Tag Mode (if applicable): The two options here are “Assetbots scanner” and “Default camera app.” Assetbots scanners are simple QR codes for reliable scanning, but only compatible with Assetbot’ scanner. Default camera apps are more complex QR codes, but compatible with most camera apps.
  • Select Assets to Print Labels: “Existing Assets” will allow you to print assets already saved in Assetbots. “New Assets” generates tags for new assets by selecting a category. “People” allows you to choose people from your Assetbots directory.
    • If “People” is selected, you must complete the “Tag ID field” by choosing one of these options:
