Shield Your Assets with Two-Factor Authentication on Assetbots
Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your Assetbots account, making it significantly harder for unauthorized access.
What is 2FA?
With 2FA enabled, logging in to Assetbots requires two steps:
- Your Username or Email Address and Password: This is your standard login information.
- A Security Code: This unique code is generated by a mobile app installed on your smartphone or tablet.
Benefits of 2FA:
- Enhanced Security: 2FA significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access, protecting your valuable asset data.
- Peace of Mind: Knowing your account has an extra layer of security provides peace of mind.
How to Enable 2FA on Assetbots:
- Log in to your Assetbots account.
- Navigate to your profile settings by clicking on the button in the upper right of the app.
- Search for "Two-Factor Authentication" at the bottom of your profile page.
- Click on the “ENABLE 2FA” button
- Follow the on-screen instructions:
- Download and install an authenticator app on your mobile device (options include Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password).
- Scan the QR code displayed on the Assetbots settings page using your authenticator app or enter the code manually in your authenticator app.
- Entering the unique code generated by your authenticator app into the designated field on the Assetbots Two-Factor Authentication pop-up.
How to Disable 2FA on Assetbots:
- Log in to your Assetbots account.
- Navigate to your profile settings by clicking on the button in the upper right of the app.
- Search for "Two-Factor Authentication" at the bottom of your profile page.
- Click on the “DISABLE” button
