How To: Split a Reservation

Suppose you have a reservation for 3 assets, and you want to change the person or location one of the assets is reserved for. No problem! Just follow these steps:

1. Visit the reservation detail view and choose Cancel reservation from the More actions dropdown next to the Checkout button.
2. Remove any of the assets you want to keep in this reservation. Only the asset(s) you would like to move to a new reservation should remain.
3. Optionally add any notes for reference later and click Cancel.

Now that some of your assets have been cancelled from this reservation you can reserve them again for someone or somewhere else.

1. Click on the asset description to visit the asset detail view.
2. Click the More actions dropdown to the right of the primary action button in the header (usually Checkout) and choose Reserve.
3. Fill out the reservation details and click Reserve.
